SUFFERS EYE INJURY

Claude Pendeley, employed by the Lex Construction Co., suffered a serious injury to one of his eyes last Thursday when a steel cable he was cutting with an ax flew up and pierced the eye. He was attended by Dr. M. C. Rosekrans and sent to the home at Eau Claire where it was stated he expected to lose the sight of the eye.
