Mrs. Savage spent a few days last week at Hubert Carter’s.
Alton Northup, of Chicago, came at attend the funeral of his grandmother, Mrs. Hannah, and to visit this parents a few days.
Mr. and Mrs. G. Greeler visited at Winkelman’s Wednesday evening.
Alvin Lavne spent Tuesday at Ed. Greeler’s with his cousin, Leonard Rupprecht.
Mr. and Mrs. C. Greeler, and Mrs. Wm. Naedler, Jr., and baby drove to Clintonville, Saturday where they visited relatives until Monday.
Clyde Savage drove up from Richland Co., Saturday visit at Alfred Oldham’s.
Mr. and Mrs. Chas. Peck and children of Athens, drove down Sunday and called at Winkleman’s.
Mrs. Savage and son Clyde, called at Albert Schultz Monday.
Mr. Walker, Mr. Barton and Mrs. Todd of Globe are repairing Emil Winkleman’s barn.
The Progressive Calf Club enjoyed a picnic at Ross Eddy Monday.
Mrs. Warren spent Monday with Mrs. John Raine and Mrs. Maude Counsel.
Henry Hoesly and wife of Sheboygan spent a week ago Sunday with their daughter, Lorraine, who is spending the summer at her uncle’s, Marc Hoseley.
Mr. and Mrs. Hart of Granton, visited at Pete Krejci’s, Thursday evening.
The Granton Home Economic’s met with Mrs. Warren Wednesday for the purpose of re-organizing. A new charter was drawn, and the name changed to the Home Makers Club. Instead of home Econocis alone, various topics will come up for study the coming year. Any woman interested in the promotion of "better homes, better schools, better health and better communities" is eligible to membership.
Mr. and Mrs. Ira Davis and family of Milwaukee called at Alfred Oldham’s Sunday.
Mr. and Mrs. Schiltz, of Shortville, were visitors at Oldham’s one day last week.
