Thompson, Esther (Marriage - 6 Sept. 1930)
Miss Esther Thompson, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Chas. Thompson of the town of York and Mr. Theodore Jinks of Midway, Alabama, were united in marriage, September 6, at Evanston, Ill., Rev. E. H. Dawes officiating. They were attended by Mr. and Mrs. C. Vint. The bride was given in marriage by Mr. George Van Green, and Mrs. Van Green played the wedding march.
The bride wore and egg-shell colored long satin gown and long veil. She carried a bouquet of carnations. Mrs. Vint wore a green silk georgette long gown and carried American beauty roses. A wedding supper was served in the evening to all the guests.
The groom holds the position of vice president and general manager of the Chicago Soot Eradicator Co., North Clark St., Chicago. The bride was brought up in this locality and has a host of friends among our young people. They will make their home in Evanston.
