Meier, Ella (Marriage - 23 Sept. 1930)
The marriage of Miss Ella Meier, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. A. E. Meier, of the town of Levis, to Albert Meihak of Pine Valley, took place Tuesday afternoon, Sept. 23, at two o’clock at St. John’s Lutheran church, Rev. Wm. Baumann officiating.
The bride wore a gown of white crepe with a long tulle veil held in place by a head band of rhinestones and carried a shower bouquet of after the roses. Mr. Warner Meihak, brother of the groom, acted as best man.
The bride has always lived at home except the past three years, when she has had employment in Chicago.
The groom is a truck driver and has made his home with his sister. This worthy young couple will make their home in Neillsville.
The out of town quests who attended the wedding are the following Mr. and Mrs. Chris. Larson and son Roland, and Miss Dorothy McTavish of Marshfield; Mr. and Mrs. Isaac Roberts and daughter, Agnes , Mrs. Ritchke and children, Lillian, Gordon and Robert and Mrs. Upton all of Oshkosh.
The young couple left Wednesday morning on a wedding trip to Oshkosh, Milwaukee and other points.
