Scheeler, Edna (Marriage - 18 Nov. 1930)
Mr. William Marg and Miss Edna Scheeler were united in marriage at 2 o’clock, Tuesday, Nov. 18, at the Fischer church in the town of Grant, Rev. J. G. Buth officiating.
Mr. Fred Marg, brother of the groom was best man and Miss Hilda Garbisch was bridesmaid. After the ceremony a fine wedding supper was served at the home of the bride’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. Herman Scheeler of the town of Grant.
The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Albert Marg of the town of Lynn. He has always lived at home and is most highly spoken of all who know him. The bride has always lived at home with her parents. She is a young lady of fine personality and has many friends.
The Press joins in best wishes for the happiness of this worthy young couple.

Wm. Marg of the town of Lynn and Miss Edna Scheeler of town of Grant were united in marriage last Tuesday afternoon, Nov. 18, at 2 o’clock. The groom is the son of Albert Marg of Lynn an has been a section hand for a number of years. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Scheeler of Grant. She has worked out occasionally, but for the past year has assisted her parents. Both parties are well known and popular young people.
The bride was very pretty in cream satin with an overskirt of silk net and a bridal veil edged with Chantilly lace and arranged with a pretty band cap effect. She carried a shower bouquet of yellow tea roses; her bridesmaids, Miss Hilda Garbush, a friend wore blue satin, a head band of blue muline and rhinestones and Mrs. Wm. Grottke and Mrs. Hans Amacher, her sisters, wore rose satin and head bands of rose muline and rhinestones and carried bouquets of white and pink carnations. The groom’s attendants were his brother, Fred Marg and his brothers-in-law, Wm. Grottke and Hans Amacher. All wore dark blue suits. The dining room was decorated in white, blue and rose and the sitting room all white. The wedding march was played by Mrs. Ray Dorst. A wedding supper was served to about 200 guests at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Herman Scheeler.
At present they will make their home with the bride’s parents.
Out of town guests, were Mrs. Warleben of Fond du Lac, Mrs. Albert Wiederhoeft and daughter of Colby, Mrs. Charles Krone and daughters, Mrs. Alvin Goldammer and children, August Scheeler and daughters, Misses Frieda and Minnie and rms. Clarence Goose, Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Gerth, Mr. and Mrs. H. Amcher of Abbotsford, Mr. and Mrs. Marg and Iris of Dancy and Misses Alma and Ida Grottke and John Blansk of Milwaukee.
This date also was the wedding anniversary of the bride’s grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Kelpin, who formerly lived here, but are now living in California.
