Pieper, Lydia (11 JUN 1880 - 6 NOV 1918)
Mrs. Lydia Pieper, wife of Frank Pieper of the town of Beaver died at Marshfield hospital on Nov. 6, 1918 at the age of 38 years 4 mo. and 26 days. She was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Albert Essmann, born in the town of Herman, Dodge Co., June 11, 1880.
On May 24, 1900 she was married to Frank K. Pieper and the same year moved to Clark Co.
She was a victim of an auto accident several weeks ago and suffered a great deal until death came to her release. She was a woman that had the respect of everyone and was a kind neighbor and friend.
She leaves to mourn her death besides her husband, four children the oldest about 15, a mother, five brothers, four sisters and other relatives.
The funeral services were held at the house, Rev. E. Kemena officiating. Interment was in the Lutheran Cemetery.
