Meyer, Julia (3 JAN 1927)
Monday, Jan. 3rd, 1927, was the day when Henry Newhouse, son of Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Newhouse of Tony, Wis., and Julia Meyer, youngest daughter of Charles Meyer, were united in marriage at St. Balthasar's Catholic Church, Rev. Joseph Stenz officiating.
The bride wore a pretty suit of tan poiret twill with hat to match.
Catherine Hoeser was bridesmaid and she wore a blond color satin dress. Romie Goetz, a nephew of the groom, was best man.
After the ceremony they went to the home of the bride, where a wedding dinner and supper were served.
The dining room was beautifully decorated with pink and white streamers. A pretty bouquet of pink and white carnations and ferns decorated the dinning table.
The bride is a respectable young lady, who has been assisting in Mrs. Baker's Café the past summer.
The groom has been doing mason work in the surrounding vicinity the last few years.
The Tribune joins their many friends in extending congratulations.
