Pratt, Irene (16 FEB 1927)
The home of Mr. and Mrs. Ralph M. Pratt was the scene of a pretty wedding on Wednesday evening, Feb. 16th, 1927, at 7 o'clock, when their daughter Irene was united in marriage to Mr. Calvin R. Prior, Rev. Householder, an old friend of the family, officiating.
Miss Elma Prior played the wedding march and the ceremony took place under a white bell in the living room. The house decorations were in pink and white with bouquets of pink roses.
The bride was becomingly attired in a dress of tan crepe over coral taffeta.
After the ceremony a fine wedding supper was served to the guests who consisted of the immediate families only.
The bride is the second daughter of Mr. and Mrs. R. M. Pratt and has lived most of her life here (Loyal, Clark County, Wis.). She is a graduate of our local high school and a young lady of many admirable qualities and well qualified to make a happy home.
The groom is the oldest son of Mr. and Mrs. Ray Prior and spent his early childhood here, but for the past twelve years has lived in Wauconda, Ill., where he graduated from the Wauconda High School. He is a young man of fine character and dependable in every way.
Both contracting parties have the respect and esteem of a host of friends who join with the Tribune in wishing they a long and happy wedded life.
