Molle, Loella E. (9 Dec 1913 - 11 Augl 2004)

Loella Esther Molle, 90, Colby, formerly of Unity, Wisconsin, died Wednesday, Aug. 11, 2004, at House of the Dove, Marshfield. Funeral services were held at 1 p.m., Sunday, Aug. 15, at Zion Lutheran Church, Colby. Burial was in St. Luke’s Lutheran Cemetery, South Green Grove. The Rev. Mark Neumann officiated.

Louella Esther Edwards was born Dec. 9, 1913, in Mount Pulaski, Ill., to Elmer and Lulu (nee Gulso) Edwards. She received her education at the Atwood area schools. She married Henry Molle on June 12, 1935, at the Congregational Church, Owen. He died Oct. 13, 1996. They farmed in the town of Green Grove, from 1935-1970, when they moved to Unity. She lived at the Angelus Retirement Community since August of 2001. Her interests included gardening, flowers, making candy, square dancing, playing cards, her children, grandchildren, and the neighborhood kids.

Survivors include her children, Milton (NanJean) Molle, Abbotsford, Diann (Richard) Shefchik, Marshfield, and Jack (Emily) Molle, Unity; eight grandchildren; eighteen great-grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren; and one sister, Dorthaleen (Harold) Hardrath, Owen.

Preceding her in death were her parents, her husband, one sister, three brothers, and one sister-in-law.
