COLBY, WIS. - Miss Eleanore Altenberger, 53, Sheboygan, a former Colby resident, died at 5:30 a.m. Sunday at a hospital in Sheboygan, where she had been a patient the past year.
Funeral services will be held at 9:30 a.m. At St. Mary's Catholic, Church, Colby with the Rev. B. Beschta officiating. Burial will be made in the Catholic cemetery.
The body is reposing at the Lulloff Funeral Home, where a general rosary service will be held today at 8 p.m.
Miss Altenberger was born Dec 25, 1896, in the Town of Colby. She received her early education there and also was a graduated of Central State Teachers College, Stevens Point. After graduation, she taught for one year, and since that time had worked in stores in Stevens Point and Sheboygan.
She is survived by four sisters, Mrs. Marta Rahn and Mrs. Edgar Laux, Colby; Mrs. John Tauschek, Luxemburg; and Miss Pauline Altenberger, Sheboygan. Preceding her in death were her parents, a brother and a sister.
