Lightfoot, Effie (28 Aug. 1884 - 23 Dec. 1930)

Effie Durst, daughter of Michael and Elizabeth Durst, was born at Pine Island, Minnesota, Aug. 28, 1884. She lived in Minnesota until she was thirteen years old, when she came with her parents to Fairchild where she lived until her death on Dec. 23, 1930.

She was married in 1905 to Francis M. Lightfoot and to this union four children were born, Zelda, Maybelle, Frances and Marion.

Although Mrs. Lightfoot has been in ill health for several years, she was always very patient and cheerful, and even in the last few days of her life it was this remarkable spirit which seemed to keep her up.

Mrs. Lightfoot was for many years a local correspondent for the Press and we all sincerely mourn her death.

She leaves to mourn her loss, her husband and four children, two sisters and five brothers and a host of friends.
