Landry, John (30 Oct. 1851 - *31 May 1931)* Could be off
John Landry, of the town of Reseberg, and father of Wallace J. Landry, county agent, died Sunday at his home at the age of 81 years. Mr. Landry was born at Bia Chaleur, Quebec, Canada, October 30, 1851, the son of Peter and Orlea Landry, the parents being of French origin. He came to Wisconsin in 1882 and for ten years worked in lumber camps. In 1892 he came to Reseberg township and purchased 120 acres, of which his present farm is a part. He was the first treasurer of Reseberg.
Mr. Landry was married to Dora Oesau of New Holstein, Wis., on Nov. 15, 1888. Mrs. Landry died some years ago. Four children survive, Wallace J., Howard, Harry and Belle.
The funeral was held Tuesday morning.
