Marsh, Mary (18 Sept. 1868 - 30 Aug. 1931)
Mrs. A. B. Marsh passed away at Marshfield Hospital Sunday evening, August 30, after an illness of three months. She was stricken with paralysis on May 31, and was cared for at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Joe Zimmerman, until three weeks ago, when she was taken to the hospital.
Mary McIntyre was born in Neillsville Sept. 18, 1868, and lived all her life in this city. She was married in 1886 to Alva B. Marsh, for many years prominent in business and civic affairs here. He died six years ago. Mrs. Marsh was a lady of rare personal and social charm and had many friends.
She is survived by three children Mrs. Joseph Zimmerman of Neillsville; Mrs. Wayne Miller of Scranton, Pa.; and Gerald Marsh of Fairdale, Pa.; she leaves also three grandchildren, and one brother, Ernest McIntyre, of Neillsville.
Mrs. Miller and Gerald Marsh, who were here some weeks ago to visit their mother, arrived from the east Tuesday night.
Funeral services are held this afternoon, Wednesday, at Lowe’s Funeral home, Mr. Peter Temby reading the Christian Science service.
