Mr and Mrs. Chas. Motts celebrated their Golden wedding at their home in the town of Lyn on Dec. 26. They were married in the Lutheran Church at Mapleworks Dec. 26, 1880 and have lived all their marriage lives on their present farm.

Mr. Motts was born in Washington County, Wis., and his wife, whose maiden name was Rose Wischuelke, was born in Germany.

They have one daughter, Mrs. Chas. Reisner, of Lynn, five grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Those present at the Golden wedding were: Mr. and Mrs. William Wischuelke, Mr. and Mrs. Theodore Breseman and son Louis, Mr. and Mrs. Walter Moldenhauser, Reinhold Wischuelke, William Sternitzky, Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Sternitzky and two children, Miss Lovilla Gotter and Robert Helm.
