Scherer, Anna (Marriage - 27 May 1931)
The wedding of Miss Anna Scherer, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George Scherer of Delevan, Wis., to Edward Zank, son of Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Zank, took place Wednesday, May 27, at 9 a.m. at the St. John’s parsonage in Neillsville Rev. Baumann performing the ceremony.
Attending the bride was Miss Mary O’Reilly, a friend. Walter Zank acted as best man. The bride was dressed in shell pink georgette and carried a bouquet of roses and lilies of the valley. The bridesmaid wore a gown of orchid georgette and carried a bouquet of roses and sweet peas. The groom and his attendant were dressed in suits of navy blue.
Mr and Mrs. Zank were well known in this locality, having spent the greater part of their lives here. The bride is one of Clark County’s most successful teachers.
They have a host of friends who wish them more happiness and success in life.
The young couple are enjoying a trip through the southern part of the state visiting friends and relatives there. After their return they will live in Neillsville where they groom has employment.
