Bohnsack, Erma (Marriage - 11 June 1931)
Mr. Ralph Alstot and Miss Erma Bohnsack were united in marriage at 2:30 o’clock Thursday afternoon, June 11, at the parsonage of the Union Church, Rev. Paul B. White officiating.
The bride was attended by Miss Lucille Alstot, sister of the groom, and Mr. Floyd Alstot, the groom’s brother, was best man. The bride wore a white satin dress with all over lace, and a veil of white silk net with wreath of pearls and orange blossoms. She carried a shower bouquet of pink snapdragons, white carnations and sweet peas. The bridesmaid wore pink chiffon, and carried a bouquet of pink and white carnations and snapdragons. After the ceremony a supper was served at the home of the bride’s mother for a few near relatives.
The groom is the son of Mrs. O. J. Alstot of the town of Grant. He is a young man of industry and upright character. For the past four years he has been employed on the farm of Rush Hake in Grant.
The bride is the daughter of Mrs. Henry Bohnsack of Neillsville. She is a young lady of charming manner. For some time she has been employed as waitress at the Merchants hotel where her courtesy and efficiency have made her many friends. For the present the young couple will live at the home of the bride’s mother.
