Edens, Hilda (Marriage - 9 June 1931)
The marriage of Miss Hilda Edens, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. W. H. Edens of the town of York and Mr. Irvin Vandeberg, son of Mr. and Mrs. Abram Vandeberg also of the town of York, took place on June 9, 1931 at two o’clock at the Congregational parsonage in Neillsville, Rev. G. W. Longenecker officiating.
The bride wore a dress of light blue flat crepe and carried a bouquet of tea roses and lilies of the valley. She was attended by the groom’s cousin, Miss Dell Lawrence, who was dressed in salmon pink flat crepe and carried an arm bouquet of carnations and sweet peas.
The groom was attended by the bride’s brother, Hans Edens, both wore suits of navy blue.
A six o’clock dinner was served to thirty immediate relatives in a prettily decorated room trimmed with pink and blue streamers and white wedding bells, with bouquets of cut flowers; at the bride’s home.
The young couple will make their home in the town of York.
Miss Erna Edens of Milwaukee, and Mr. and Mrs. W. G. Edens and two children of Iron Mountain, Mich., were here to attend the wedding.
