OWEN - Robert J. Miskanis, 73, Owen, died Sept. 29, 2004, at his home.
Services will be at 7 p.m. Sunday at Maurina Funeral Home in Owen. Visitation will be from 4 p.m. until service time Sunday at the funeral home.
He was born Aug. 23, 1931, in Chicago, Ill., to Harry and Martha (Olszewski) Miskanis. He married Nioma Turenne on Oct. 12, 1951. He worked as a machinist for Bilink Manufacturing Company in Chicago until 1976. The couple then moved to a farm in the town of Longwood, near Owen, and Robert retired in 1998.
He is survived by his wife, Nioma Miskanis, Owen; son, David Miskanis, Colby; four grandchildren; brother, Fred Miskanis, Wausau; and sister, Lorraine Kaas, Oceanside, Calif.
