Struensee, Evelyn M. ( 25 Feb. 1915 - 3 Oct. 2004)

NEILLSVILLE - Evelyn M. Struensee, 89 of Neillsville died Sunday, Oct. 3, 2004, at her home. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Buchanan Funeral Home, Neillsville. Burial will follow in Neillsville City Cemetery.

Visitation will be held from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home, with a rosary at 7:30 p.m. She was born Feb. 25, 1915, in Dodge County to Otto and Mary (Breitzkruetz) Julius. She married her first husband, William Schroeder, who preceded her in death. She married Joseph Struensee on Feb. 10, 1950, and he also preceded her in death. She was a homemaker.

She is survived by six sons, Jerome (Mary) Schroeder of Fort Pierce, Fla. and Darrell Struensee, Floyd (Carol) Struensee, Warren (MaryJane) Struensee, Robert Struensee and Dale (Lois) Struensee, all of Neillsville; four daughters, Carol (Jim) Kasun of Cedarburg, Alice Zelasko of Clintonville, Shirley Bryan of Tennessee and Geraldine Flegner of Sussex; four sisters, Ann (Russell) Palmer of Mammoth Falls, Ore., LuVerne Hoffman of Waupun, Josephine Ravanelli, of Mayville and Frances Flegner of Oshkosh; 30 grandchildren, 50 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.
