Mrs. Otto Rahn

UNITY, WIS. - Mrs. Otto Rahn, 78, Unity died at 9:40 p.m. Monday at St. Joseph's Hospital, Marshfield, where she had been a patient for six days. Death was attributed to a ruptured appendics.
Funeral services have tentatively been arranged for 2 p.m. Thursday in Zion Lutheran Church in Colby. Burial will be in Green Grove cemetery. Friends may pay their respects at the Lulloff Funeral Home starting tonight.
Mrs. Rahn, nee Altenberger, was born April 14, 1885, in Colby. Her marriage to Fred Wiegman, who preceded her in death in 1923, took place in 1909. In 1929, she married Otto Rahn, who also preceded her in death. From time of her marriage to Fred Wiegman until 1946, Mrs. Rahn resided on a farm near Unity. From 1946 to 1956 she lived in Colby, and since that time had been making her home with a daughter Mrs. Arnold (Eleanor) Edblom, Unity. Mrs. Rahn was a member of the Colby Zion Lutheran Church.
In addition to Mrs. Edblom, she is survived by another daughter, Mrs. Walter (Bernita) Stecker, Marshfield and a son, Merlin Wiegman, Oshkosh; six grandchildren; and three sisters, Mrs. John Tauschek, Luxemburg; Mrs. Edgar (Lydia) Laux, Colby and Miss Pauline Altenberger, Sheboygan.
