Gustave Anderson (4/25/1875-July/1941)

Spencer--Gustav Anderson, 65, died at 5:20 o'clock yesterday morning at St. Joseph's Hospital, Marshfield, where he had been taken on July 2.

The body will lie in state at the Swarthout Funeral Home until 10 o'clock Saturday morning, when it will be taken to the Anderson home.

A short funeral service will be conducted Saturday afternoon at 1:45 o'clock at the Anderson home, and at 2 o'clock at Trinity Lutheran Church. Burial will be made in Hillside cemetery, Marshfield.

Mr. Anderson was born in Stockholm, Sweden, April 25, 1875, and came to the United States 44 years ago. He was married here to Miss Julia Swanson in 1905. Before his coming to Spencer 1 1/2 years ago, he FARMED IN FREMONT TOWNSHIP AND RICHFIELD.

Surviving are his widow, two sons, Alvin, and Victor, both of Spencer; one daughter, Mrs. Floyd (Arleen) Gaylor, Waupaca; three grandchildren; and one sister in Sweden.
