Milligan, John (22 JUN 1873 - 23 Feb 1919)
John Milligan, second son of Mr. and Mrs. Oliver Milligan died at the home of his parents Sunday evening Feb. 23rd of tuberculosis at the age of 45 years. He was born on the farm South west of Loyal June 22, 1873. The most of his life has been spent in this vicinity except when he has been away at work in camps or on the railroad. The deceased was a kind son and brother and was always ready to lend a helping hand.
He is survived by his parents, five brothers, William of Oregon, Frank of North Dakota, Fred of Stanley, Hugh of Loyal and Harold in France, one sister, Mrs. Dollie Castner besides other relatives and many friends. The funeral was held from the house at 2 p.m. Wednesday afternoon. Rev. E. E. Strevey officiating. He was laid to rest in the Loyal Cemetery.
