West Fremont--Mr. and Mrs. Henry Nebel, among the most widely known and highly esteemed residents of this community, celebrated their silver wedding anniversary Saturday evening by entertaining a group of relatives at a 7 o'clock dinner at their home, which was decorated in holiday colors and silver.
At the table, place cards and a wedding cake served as decorations, with miniature Christmas trees marking the places of the children. Serving was in charge of Misses Frieda and Mildred Nebel, Elsie Fisher, Anna Grimm, Iva Zimmerman, and Lydia Foemmel.
Following the dinner an anniversary address was given by the Rev. G.W. Zimmerman, pastor of the Chili Evangelical church, and songs were sung by Mrs. E.L. Schilling, Miss Zimmerman, and Miss Evelyn Schilling.
The guests included the following: Mrs. and Mrs. Emil Lindow and Mr. and Mrs. Ed Schlinsog, Granton; Mr. and Mrs. Ed Leonard, Milwaukee; Mr. and Mrs. Walter King and son, Floyd, of Marshfield; Rev. and Mrs. G.W. Zimmerman, daughter Iva, and son, Floyd, of Chili; Mr. and Mrs. Louis Lindow, parents of Mrs. Nebel; Mr. and Mrs. Ferdinand Nebel and sons, Harland and Ronald, Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Lindow and daughters, Arlene, Ethlyn and Geneva, Mr. and Mrs. George Lindow and children, Donald, Norman, Alvin, Clarence, and Doris, Mr. and Mrs. Ed Lindow, Mr. and Mrs. Walter Lindow, Mr. and Mrs. Ezra Schilling, Mr. and Mrs. William Bandt and sons, Melvin and Willmer, and Marion Lee.
