Thiede, Erwin A. (9 July 1936 - 11 July 2004)

Erwin A. Thiede, age 68, of Neillsville died Sunday, July 11 at his home.

Erwin was born July 9, 1936 in Burlington, the son of the late Erwin R. and Gunda (Holden) Thiede. He served in the Army with the 11th Airborne Division in Germany. He worked as a dairy farmer before retiring to Neillsville. He enjoyed fishing and was a Brewers fan.

Erwin is survive by two sisters, Evelyn Delcorps, of Kensoha; and Marilyn (Harold) Elverman, of Twin Lakes; two nieces; three nephews; a brother-in-law, Lorenz Bode, of Elizabeth, IL.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Judith Bode.

Private graveside services will be held at Burlington Cemetery.

Buchanan Funeral Home, of Neillsville assisted the family with arrangements.
