SELK-VerHAGEN
At a 9 o'clock high mass read by the Rev. Arthur Cramer in St. Stephen's Catholic Church, Town of Fremont, Thursday, April 4, Miss Mabel Verhagen, Chili, was married to Alvord SELK, son of Mr. and Mrs. George SELK, Chili.
Miss VerHagen was attired in a street length dress of Copenhagen blue silk crepe and a navy blue hat. Her sister, Miss Frances VerHagen, attended as maid of honor, wearing a dress of silk crepe in the rose shade. Howard VerHagen, brother of the bride, was best man.
Following the ceremony the bridal party was served a wedding breakfast in Marshfield. On Thursday evening a miscellaneous shower was given at the Fremont Town Hall. Dancing furnished entertainment during the evening.
The couple will reside on the VerHagen farm.
