At a simple ceremony performed Monday at 2 p.m. by Judge Oscar Schoengarth at the Neillsville courthouse, Miss Marian JOHNSON, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Grant JOHNSON, town of Fremont, became the bride of Carl ELMHORST, son of Mr. and Mrs. Henry ELMHORST, also of Fremont township.
Miss Evelyn ELMHORST, sister of the bridegroom, and Donald WINN, Granton, attended the couple.
The bride was attired in a frock of navy blue chiffon over blue satin, with white accessories. The bridesmaid wore royal blue silk crepe.
For the present Mr. and Mrs. ELMHORST will make their home with the bride's parents.
Tomorrow evening they will be honored at a miscellaneous shower at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Ted SMITH.
