ROEHL-GAULKE
Miss Verna GAULKE, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Otto GAULKE, East Fremont, was married to Walter ROEHL, son of Mr. and Mrs. Herman ROEHL, West Fremont, at a 2:30 o'clock ceremony performed Saturday, April 20, in St. John's Lutheran Church parsonage, Nasonville, by the Rev. A.G. DIEMER.
Miss GAULKE was attired in a robin egg blue frock with a flowered blue hat and blue slippers. Miss Irene GAULKE, sister of the bride, attended as maid of honor, wearing a dress of dusty pink fashioned similar to the bride's. A flowered pink hat and black slippers completed her ensemble. Alvin ROEHL, brother of the groom, was best man. Both wore boutonnieres of white carnations and fine ferns.
A wedding supper was served to immediate relatives at the home of the bride's parents. Out-of-town guests were Mr. and Mrs. Frank REDER and son, Richard, and daughter, Joan, Mr. and Mrs. Richard USCHOLD, and Clarence GAULKE, Milwaukee.
In the evening a wedding dance and miscellaneous shower were given in the Fremont Town Hall.
