LINDOW-ERWIN

The Wesley Methodist Episcopal Church in Milwaukee was the scene of a lovely March wedding Saturday at 4 p.m., when Miss Beulah ERWIN, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Howard ERWIN, Milwaukee, became the bride of Lester LINDOW, son of Mr. and Mrs. August LINDOW, town of Fremont. Dr. Charles A. BRIGGS performed the double ring ceremony.

Ivory satin, designed on simple lines, was worn by the bride, whose finger-tip veil was held in place by a crown of tulle and pearls. She carried a shower bouquet of white sweet peas and iris. Ivory satin slippers to match her gown completed the bride's ensemble.

Bridesmaids were Miss Ruth BROCKEL, Milwaukee, and miss Vivian WILCOX, Avoca, who wore frocks of peach colored silk crepe, fashioned on princess lines, and carried colonial bouquets of sweetpeas, talisman roses, and forget-me-nots. They wore peach colored satin slippers, blue and gold brooches, and talisman roses in their hair.

The bride's only sister, Miss Phyllis ERWIN, Milwaukee, attended as maid-of-honor, wearing a princess gown of pastel blue silk crepe, blue satin slippers, gold and blue brooch, and talisman roses in her hair. Her colonial bouquet was similar to the bridesmaids'.

Ross HACKER, Forest Juncion, cousin of the bridegroom, attended Mr. LINDOW as best man, and Marion LEE and Marlyn LINDOW, Chili, were ushers. The men wore boutonnieres of white carnations.

As the bridal party entered the church, the "Bridal Chorus" from "Lohengrin" was played by Mrs. BARBER, Milwaukee. The bride approached the altar on the arm of her father, Howard ERWIN, who gave her in marriage.

A 6 o'clock wedding dinner was served after the ceremony in the church dining room, with covers laid for 21 guests. Cut flowers decorated the church and dining room for the occasion.

Out of town guests at the wedding included Mrs. August LINDOW, Chili, and Mrs. F.L. SCHILLING, Granton; Marion and Robert LEE and Marlyn LINDOW, Chili; and Mr. and Mrs. A.F. Lee, Granton.

After a few days' wedding trip, Mr. LINDOW and his bride will make their home on a farm in the town of Lynn.

The bride is a graduate of the West Division High School and of the Spencerian Business College. Since her graduation she has been employed as secretary for the Charles E. Ternock Company of Milwaukee. She is a member of the Wesley Methodist Episcopal Church in Milwaukee.

The bridegroom has been employed on his father's farm in the twon of Fremont, and is a member of Immanuel's Evangelical Church at Chili.
