WEDDING ANNOUNCEMENT: Mrs. Ida OLSON of 352 1/2 South Central Avenue, Marshfield and Myron E. WILDING, South Clay Street, Neillsville, were united in marriage at 8:30 Monday evening at the home of the groom in the presence of 40 guests, the number being limited to relatives and a few close friends, due to the lack of room. Rev. E.P. STONE, pastor of the M.E. church of this city, performed the ceremony.
Miss Inez WILLIAMSON, Wausau, granddaughter of the bride, and Wayne WILDING BROWN, Neillsville, grandson of the groom, attended the couple, the men wearing bouttonnaires and the women corsages.
A delightful lunch followed the ceremony, with Mrs. Mary RICHARDSON in charge.
The bride, who has been employed as housekeeper by Miss Della MILLS, of Marshfield, is 67 years of age. She is a native of Wisconsin and her pleasing mannerism will win friends readily for her in the new home and community though she comes to Neillsville almost a total stranger.
Mr. and Mrs. WILDING chose his 69th birthday as their wedding day. Mr. WILDING has lived in Clark county all his life. He grew up on farms in the town of Grant. At the age of 11 years, he was bound out to Thomas REED in the home township, being also employed on the A.A. GRAVES farm near Loyal. Later he purchased a farm and lived theron until he moved to Loyal where he served three years as treasurer and two years as trustee. In 1908 he was elected county treasurer, and after two terms in that office he was elected county clerk, which office he also held for two terms. Since retiring from office, he has conducted an insurance business. He was secretary of the Clark County Agricultural society for several years and gave freely of his time for the promotion of community activities throughout the years.
They will make their home in Mr. WILDING's residence on South Clay street.
