HOWARD-DANKEMYER
Wearing a beige suit with blue and brown accessories and a corsage of gardenias, Miss Nona Marie DANKEMYER, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. WIlliam DANKEMYER, Lynn, became the bride of Robert Gail HOWARD, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Alva HOWARD of Granton, on Sunday, March 15, at high noon in the parsonage of the Zion Lutheran Church. The Rev. Arthur LAESCH officiated.
Miss Ione DANKEMYER, in a rose dress, rose and brown accessories, and wearing a corsage of pink and yellow roses, was maid of honor, Le Roy PISCHER attended the groom.
A wedding dinner and reception for approximately 50 guests followed at the home of the bride's parents, appropriately decorated with white wedding bells. The table was decorated with pink and white carnations and white candles, and centered with a wedding cake for the occasion.
Among the guests was the bride's aunt, Mrs. Gertrude ROSS of Eau Claire.
After a brief wedding trip the couple will be at home to their friends in Marshfield, where Mr. Howard is employed as a clerk.
Both the bride and groom graduated from the Granton High School in 1939 and Mrs. Howard attended the Wood County Normal School for one year.
