DOEHR-BEIL
.............designed with elbow length leg o' mutton sleeves, and brown accessories, Miss Hazel Ann Beil, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Adolph W. Beil, Chili, became the bride of Lyle Wallace Doehr, son of Mr. and Mrs. Werner H. Doehr, Chili, at a nuptial service performed Thursday, Dec. 18, at 2:30 o'clock in the Lutheran parsonage at Granton, with the Rev. A. H. Laesch officiating.
Miss Evelyn Doehr, who attended the bride, wore a street dress of black velvet with rose colored accessories. Both she and the bride wore corsages of rosebuds and chrysanthemums. The bride completed her ensemble with a brown bonnet-style hat with shoulder length veil.
Arwin Beil attended the bridegroom as best man.
Immediate relatives and friends were entertained at a 6 o'clock wedding dinner at the home of the bride's parents. Aqua and white streamers and white wedding bells decorated the residence. Holly and evergreen twigs adorned the table.
Among the guests were Henry Bequette, Fairchild; Mr. and Mrs. Harold Montag and daughter, Elaine, Mr. and Mrs. Gerald Dankemyer, and Mr. and Mrs. Paul Beil and son, Melvin, and Mr. and Mrs. Werner Doehr and daughter, Evelyn, all of Chili; and the Rev. and Mrs. A. H. Laesch and family, Granton.
Mr. and Mrs. Doehr are making their home on a farm at Chili. The bride is a graduate of the Neillsville High School with the class of 1939. The bride groom, who is engaged in farming, was graduated from the Marshfield High School in 1939.
