TESSMER-SCHMITZ
Announcement is made of the marriage of Miss Shirley SCHMITZ, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William SCHMITZ of the Town of Fremont, to Eldred TESSMER, son of Mr. and Mrs. H. TESSMER, Christie. The ceremony took place recently at the Corpus Christi Catholic parsonage, Bakerville.
The bride, who was gowned in white satin worn with a finger-tip veil, was attended by her cousin, Miss Gladys GUFF. Raymond TESSMER, brother of the bridegroom, was best man.
The bride, who was graduated from Loyal High School with the class of '40, spent nearly a year in Washington, DC, where she was employed. The groom is a graduate of Neillsville High School.
The couple will make their home at Christie on the TESSMER farm, which the bridegroom operates.
