WALTERS-PIETENPOL
Wearing a soldier blue suit with navy accessories Miss Elaine PIETENPOL, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. FLoyd PIETENPOL, of Granton, became the bride of Leslie WALTERS, also of Granton. The ceremony was performed in the parsonage of the Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church Dec. 14, at 6:30 p.m. by the Rev. J.G. BUTH.
Attendants were Miss Margaret BEECKLER, of Granton, and Raymond KADDATZ, seaman second class.
Following the service a wedding supper was served to the immediate relatives at the Walters home, decorated in navy blue and white. Twenty-five persons attended. Wednesday evening a shower and dance were held in the Granton hall.
Mrs. Walters, a graduate of the Granton High School with the class of 1936 and from the teacher training course at Neillville a year later, is employed as a teacher. Her husband attended the Neillsville High School.
