Mrs. August Dankemyer returned from a ten days’ stay at the Marshfield hospital. She took treatment for throat trouble.

Mrs. Walter Hopp was a patient at St. Joseph’s Hospital during the past week, returning Sunday.

Anton Hornick, Sr., has been considerably under the weather during the past week.

Marion Lee is working for F. L. Schilling.

The Mesdames Wm. Happe, G. Davis, E. W. Lee and F. Dankemyer attended the get together meeting at Granton.

Mr and Mrs. Harold O’Dell and family of Owen spent Sunday at the Walter Hopp home.

Miss Lenore Bartz, teacher at the Big Four School is directing a play, Beads on a String, to be given at the Chili Hall this Wednesday evening, Nov. 4. The proceeds will be divided between the local Farmers’ Union and the Big Four School.
