Nisula, Annie A. (9 OCT 1921 - 5 OCT 2004)
Annie A. Nisula, 82, Spencer, Wisconsin, died Tuesday, Oct. 5, 2004, at the Clark County Health Care Center, Owen. Funeral services were held at 11 a.m., Saturday, Oct. 9, at Maurina Funeral Home, Owen. Burial was in Riverside Cemetery, Withee. The Rev. Tom Gonzalez officiated.
Annie A. Kohniak was born Oct. 9, 1921, in Lublin, to Joseph and Cecelia [nee Petrovich] Kohniak. She worked for a time in Chicago and married Richard "Cleo" Long on Nov. 21, 1942, in Chicago. He died in 1948. She returned to Withee and worked on the home farm. She married John Nisula on July 16, 1956. They farmed in the town of Resburg, until they retired in 1973. They then moved to Spencer where she resided until entering the Clark County Health Care Center. Her husband died on Jan. 22, 1992.
Survivors include two sons, Jack Long, West Milwaukee, and Ronnie Nisula, Marshfield; one daughter-in-law, Barbara Long, Franklin; two grandchildren, Joshua Long, and Edward Long; one sister-in-law, Helen Kohniak, Chicago, one brother-in-law, William Joyce, Loyal; and several nieces.
Preceding her in death were her parents; her husbands; five brothers, John, Nick, Mike, Alex and George; and one sister, Olga.
Maurina Funeral Service, Owen, assisted the family with arrangements.
