Erickson, Emma (Jul 1852 - 12 OCT 1927)
Emma Knudson was born in Norway in July 1852 and came to this country in her infancy with her parents, who made their home in Chicago.
On June 7, 1879 the deceased was united in marriage to E. A. Erickson of Chicago. After their marriage they moved to Iowa where they lived for thirty-five years. On account of the deceased sickness they moved to the northern part of Wisconsin, near Cumberland until the fall of 1919, when they moved to Clark County. Here they resided for a time on a farm with the deceased sister, located three miles west of Loyal.
On May 1, 1925 they moved to the village of Loyal at which place they lived until her death, which occurred Wednesday morning Oct. 12th. After a lingering illness of two years.
She leaves to mourn her loss her husband, two brothers and many friends, who will greatly miss her.
Funeral services were held from the residence Friday afternoon Oct. 14th, Rev. Wadding officiating. Interment took place in the Loyal Cemetery.
