Helms, Marie (7 NOV 1927)
A marriage was solemnized Monday afternoon, Nov. 7, 1927 at three o’clock whereby Marie Helms became the bride of A. J. Jirschele. The ceremony was performed by the Rev. A. J. Dorrenbach in the parsonage of St. John’s Catholic church. They were attended by Miss Mabel Helms, sister of the bride and Ray Jirschele, the groom’s brother. The bride wore a tan tailored dress with hat to match. The bridesmaid wore a dress of tan wool rayon, with hat to match. Both wore corsage bouquets of mixed flowers. A six o’clock wedding dinner was served to the immediate relatives at the home of the brides parents.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. D. H. Helms of Marshfield. She was a graduate from the Marshfield High School with the class of 1922 and since that time has been employed as bookkeeper at the Uthmeier-Hintz store. The groom is a son of Mr. and Mrs. John Jirschele of Marshfield. He came here two months ago and became proprietor of the local bakery. He is an industrious young man and well liked in the community.
The Tribune joins with their many friends in wishing them a long and happy wedded life.
