Lindekugel, Mr./Mrs. Wm. (50th - 18 NOV 1927)
MR. AND MRS. WM. LINDEKUGEL CELEBRATE GOLDEN WEDDING ANNIVERSARY
Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Lindekugel celebrated their Golden Wedding Anniversary Friday afternoon and evening, Nov. 18th. At the home of their son Mr.. and Mrs. Frank Lindekugel. The home was decorated in White and gold. A five o’clock supper was served to about 75 guests. During the reception Mr. and Mrs. Lindekugel renewed their marriage vows, Rev. Ferne of Marshfield officiating.
Mr. and Mrs. Lindekugel were married in Germany. They came to this country forty years ago and settled on a ninety three acre wood lot where they built a log house and started clearing their land. Ten years ago they moved to the Village of Loyal where they have been enjoying good health since that time. Mr. Lindekugel has reached the age of seventy-seven years and his wife seventy-five.
Three children were born to this union, namely Frank now residing on the old homestead, Wm. Lindekugel of Loyal and Mrs. Wm. Trachte of Arpin.
Those present at the celebration were Mr. and Mrs. Frank Lindekugel and family, Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Lindekugel, Jr., and family, Mrs. Wm. Trachte and family and many other friends and neighbors. The evening was spent in dancing, playing cards and telling of old time stories.
