Bauer, Loretta (2 JAN 1928)
A very pretty wedding took place at St. Balthasar’s Catholic Church on Monday, Jan. 2, 1928, when Miss Loretta Bauer became the bride of Mr. Clarence Froeba, Rev. Joseph Stenz, officiating.
The bride is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Beaver [? Bauer], who reside on a farm in Pelsdorf. She wore a very pretty dress of tan crepe with hat to match and was attended by her sister, Miss Rosaline Bauer who was attired in blue crepe with hat to match.
The groom is the second son of Mr. and Mrs. Thos. Froeba, who also live in Pelsdorf. The groom and best man, Edwin Froeba, wore dark suits.
After the ceremony a bountiful wedding dinner and supper was served at the home of the brides’ parents for immediate relatives only.
Both the bride and groom are well and favorably known in this vicinity, having lived here all their life.
The Tribune joins with the many friends of the young couple in extending heartiest congratulations.
