Monroe, John (1887? - 25 JUN 1910)
The funeral of John Monroe, who died at their home in Augusta last Saturday, was held from the F. M. Church Monday afternoon, the interment being in the Mentor Cemetery. John was the second son of Mr. and Mrs. Joshua Monroe and was twenty-three years of age. He had been sick for a long time and his death was not unexpected. Although suffering much pain, he was patient and uncomplaining. Parents and two brothers survive, two sisters preceding him in death.
