Hemlock, Wisconsin News
JUNE 18--Last week Ella Larson, Ella Wollenberg, Hazel Warner and Sophia Hendrickson wheeled up from Greenwood, ate picnic dinner by the river and visited the school in the afternoon.
Picnics seem to be in order just now.
Children's Day was observed by the H. S. S. Sunday with appropriate exercises. The hall was beautifully decorated and the children did credit to themselves.
Saturday the Hemlock young people had an impromptu picnic by the river.
Mrs. James Bryden is spending the week in Hemlock visiting relatives and friends.
Mrs. Limprecht spent Sunday in Greenwood with her son, William Alperstedt, who is sick.
Among the out-of-town people who attended the exercises Sunday were Mrs. Jos. Gibson and Mr. and Mrs. G. B. Andrews.
Ralph Varney closed a nine week's term of school here Friday.
Tom Wilson is building a house on his farm.
