-Soyk, Orville (30 March 1927 - 29 Oct. 2004)

ABBOTSFORD -Orville Soyk, 77, Abbotsford, Wisconsin, died Oct. 29, 2004, at Saint Joseph's Hospital in Marshfield.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at the Maurina Funeral Home in Abbotsford.

Visitation with family and friends will be held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday at the Maurina Funeral Home in Abbotsford. Burial will be in Abbotsford Public Cemetery.

He was born on March 30, 1927, to Albert and Louis Alvina (Veichsedt) Soyk. He and Lillian Severson were married June 22, 1952, in Waukegan, Ill. They had been married 45 years when she died. Soyk served in the U.S. Army from 1945 to 1947 with the occupation force in Japan. He worked as a truck driver for Level Valley Dairy in West Bend, before retiring in 1977.

He is survived by a daughter, Mary Graun of Abbotsford; four sons, Larry and Russell of Abbotsford, Dennis of Loyal and Donald of Dorchester; 12 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; sisters, Alice Arndt of Slinger and Myrtle Hassinger of West Bend; and a brother, Norman of West Bend.
