Untiedt, Carol J. (12 Aug. 1936 - 2 Nov. 2004)

CURTISS, WIS. - Carol J. Untiedt 68, of Curtiss died at her home Tuesday, Nov. 2, 2004.

Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Friday at Maurina Funeral Home, Abbotsford. The Rev. Mark Neumann will officiate.

Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. today at Maurina Funeral Home, Abbotsford.

Carol was born Aug. 12, 1936, in Wausau to Robert and Erna (Gritzmacher) Kohnhorst. Carol and Emil Untiedt were married on July 11, 1959.

She owned and operated Carol's Beauty Shop in her home from 1961 until the present. Carol and her family were instrumental in starting the softball diamond in Atwood. She operated the concession stand for many years. She liked to cook, prepare desserts and especially enjoyed playing the piano.

Carol is survived by her husband, Emil Untiedt of Curtiss; her children, Charmaine Untiedt of Marshfield, Steven (Christine) Untiedt of Abbotsford and Keith (Tammy) Untiedt of Curtiss; five grandchildren, Amanda, Ryan, Reven, Tommy and Alyssa Untiedt; one sister-in-law, Phylis Untiedt of Curtiss and her children, Anthony, Angie and Jeanie Untiedt; three sisters, Beverly (Buddy) Bradford of Schofield, Shirley (Lyle) Koppa of Wausau and Janet (Allen) Michlig of Wausau.

She was preceded in death by her parents; one daughter, Nancy; and one brother-in-law, Greg Untiedt.
