THORP - Josephine A. Broda, 76, of Thorp, died Nov. 8, 2004, at Clark County Health Care Center, Owen.

Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at St. Bernard-St. Hedwig's Catholic Church in Thorp. Burial will follow in the new St. Hedwig's Catholic Cemetery.

Visitation will be at the church on Saturday from 9 a.m. until time of service.

Josephine Ann Krzyzanowski was born Oct. 30, 1928, in Thorp, to Walter Sr. and Bernice (Wirszla) Krzyzanowski. She was united in marriage to Thomas Broda on Aug. 24, 1952, at St. Hedwig's Catholic Church. They lived and farmed in the town of Reseburg their entire married life. He died on March 25, 1989.

She is survived by her two children, Richard (Cheryl) Broda of Thorp, Kathleen (Dan) Englebert of Rockton, Ill.; four grandchildren; and one sister, Gertrude Stanula of Thorp.
