Ably, Margaret Ann (25 March 1920 - 11 Nov. 2004)
Margaret A. Ably, 84, of 307 W. Depot St., died Thursday, Nov. 11, 2004, in Chili, at the home of her daughter and son-in-law, Kathy and Tim Geldernick.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Grace Baptist Church on East Ninth Street with the Rev. Scott Goodwill officiating, and Kate Goodwill as the pianist.
Burial will be at Hillside Cemetery in Marshfield. Pallbearers will be Jeffrey, Jack, Ethan and Adam Ably and Timothy and Cole Geldernick.
Visitation will be from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday at Rembs/Kundinger Funeral Home and again on Monday from 10 a.m. until time of services at the church.
Margaret was born March 25, 1920, in Marshfield, to Emil and Susan (Breseman) Hein Jr. She attended school in Marshfield and was united in marriage to Chester M. Ably on Sept. 9, 1950, in Marshfield. He died on July 13, 1988.
Prior to her marriage, she lived in Milwaukee and worked at Allis Chalmers Corp. during World War II and also at a film developing company. She was a homemaker and enjoyed her children and grandchildren. She looked forward to Sunday services at church, watching old movies, being a Packer fan and traveling to various cities to visit her sisters. Her favorite time of the year was Christmas.
She is survived by two sons, Jack (Audrey) Ably and Jeffrey (Barb) Ably, both of Marshfield; two daughters, Kathy (Timothy) Geldernick and Ruth (William) Happe, both of Chili; 15 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. She is further survived by one brother, DuWayne (Betty) Hein of Adams, and one sister, Mae Scherr of Kenosha.
Margaret was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Chester; two granddaughters, Grace-Margaret Ably and Paula Ann Ably; a grandson, Michael McNuss; four brothers, Robert, Donald, Maynard and Norman Hein; and four sisters, Ruth Larson, Marion Douglas, Genevieve Schiesl and Elizabeth Shupe.
