Beilke, Norman T. (18 Jan 1924 - 24 Nov. 2004)
GRANTON -Norman Theodore Beilke, age 80, of Granton, died Wednesday, Nov. 24, 2004, at Saint Joseph's Hospital in Marshfield.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at the Zion American Lutheran Church in Granton. Interment will be in the Zion American Lutheran Church Cemetery.
Visitation will be held from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday at the Gesche Funeral Home in Neillsville and again one hour prior to the service on Monday at the church.
He was born Jan. 18, 1924, in the town of Lynn to Theodore and Elsie (Riedel) Beilke. Along with farming with his family, he worked for Walter Moldenhauer at his saw mill. On Aug. 25, 1949, Norman was united in marriage to Arlene Carstensen at the Zion American Lutheran Church in Granton. Norman also worked for O.W. Trindal at the Granton Feed Mill. He worked there for many years and eventually purchased the feed mill and operated it himself for 27 years. Norman also farmed his whole life and in 1962 the couple purchased the family farm from his parents.
He is survived by his wife, Arlene; one son, James Beilke, Granton; two daughters, Dianne (Ronald) Vine, Granton, and Marianne (David) Taylor, Marshfield; 13 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
