Mrs. Minnie Vornholt, wife of Mark Vornholt, whose maiden name was Pflughoeft, was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Pflughoeft. She was born at their home in Pine Valley. For a while she worked at the Indian School where she met Mark Vornholt, who also worked there. In 1925 they were married and lived a year in Madison. After that they moved to Neillsville, where thy resided on a farm 5 miles from town. Two children blessed their home.

Mrs. Vornholt’s health has been failing for a long time due to leakage and enlargement of the heart, which affected also other organs of her body.

She died Sunday afternoon at our local hospital, where she had been a few days. She reached the age of 30 years, 6 months, 6 days. The funeral service was held Wednesday afternoon, Nov. 18, at the Reformed Church of which she was a member. Rev. John Mohr of Strafford, Wis., a friend of the family, officiated in the service. She leaver her husband and two children, her father and mother, one sister, and three brothers and many other relatives and friends to mourn her death.

Minnie was a faithful wife, a kind mother to her children, a cheerful daughter. We loved her.
