Mrs. Pauline Heath Laycock passed away Jan. 6, 1932, at the age of 92 years, 9 months, at her home in Hollywood, California, after a brief illness due to a general decline. She was born in Wilmington, Essex Co., New York, April 5, 1839. She united with the Baptist church at Jay, New York, at the age of 18 years and was also a member of the choir. She was united in marriage to Andrew Heath at Parishville, N. Y. Oct. 1, 1863. They came to Wisconsin in 1870 and settled on the farm in Clark county where they resided for 43 years. She organized the first school district in township of Fremont and taught there several successful terms. She also taught several terms in New York.

They celebrated their golden wedding at the old home at Heathville, so called for the three Heath families first settling there. After selling the farm home, they purchased a home at Fossil, Oregon, in October, 1913, near their daughter, Allie and family.

Mr. Heath died at Fossil, Oregon, march 10, 1914.

She was married to D. R. Laycock of Puyallup, March 19, 1917, and later, in Nov. 1918, came to Hollywood and purchased a home, where she has since resided. Mr. Laycock died Oct. 1927. Her daughter, Allie, and husband have resided with and cared for her for the past seven years. She leaves to mourn her death, her three daughters; Allie Ralston; Leslie Davis of Granton, Wis., who was present at the time of her death, being with her since July, on a visit.; Effie Davis of Reedsburg, Wis.; five grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren.

The last sad rites were held Jan. 8, at the Funeral Parlors of Gates, Crane and Earl. The remains were laid to rest in the beautiful Hollywood Mausoleum, Rev. Frey officiating.
