Schiller, Margaret (Marriage - 14* Nov. 1931) * Could be off
Mr. Thorwald Christopherson and Miss Margaret Schiller was united in marriage Saturday morning at St. Mary’s parsonage, Rev. P. Weber officiating. They were attended by William Hughes of Milwaukee and Miss Leona Farning of Neillsville. The bride was dressed in green flat crepe.
After the ceremony a wedding breakfast was served to the relatives and close friends at the home of the bride’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. Jacob Schiller on North Grand Avenue.
The bride was born and grew to womanhood in this city, graduating from Neillsville high school in the class of 1920. She attended normal school for a time, later becoming cashier in the Zimmerman store. The past years she has been secretary at the Inderrieden canning plant. She is a young lady of fine personality, her courtesy and efficiency making many friends for her in this community.
Mr. Christopherson came here from Minnesota several years ago and had a cow testing circuit. Later he developed the Dairy Record association, a mail system of testing cows which was very successful. It was the second of its kind when organized and became the largest in existence. Last spring he resigned to take up turkey raising, buying a farm for that purpose southwest of Fairchild. He is a young man of high character and has a wide circle of friends. After a trip to Minnesota they will make their home on the groom’s farm.
