Schlinsog, Alma Louise (Marriage - 14 Oct. 1931)
Announcements were received here that Mr. J. Vere Snyder of Riverside, Calif., and Miss Alma Louise Schlinsog of Granton, Wis., were united in marriage in the Good Shepherd Lutheran church of San Diego, Calif., Oct. 14, 1931, at 4 p.m. by Rev. R. F. Kibler. They were attended by the groom’s sister, Miss Hulda Snyder of East San Diego, and by the groom’s cousin, Mr. Clarence Shurtleff of Santee, Calif.
The groom is the oldest son of Mr. and Mrs. Grant Snyder of the town of Fremont and the bride is the second oldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Herman A. Schlinsog of the town of York. Both bride and groom are graduates of the Granton high school with the classes of 1929 and 1925 respectively and are well known in this vicinity.
They went to housekeeping in Riverside where the groom has employment with the LaCedina Dairy Co. Many best wishes go with this young couple for a long and happy married life.
